What I'm Reading, Listening To, Watching, and Thinking About

  • I started reading The King of Torts by John Grisham. I'm reading it more to study how he constructs a story than for reading pleasure. What I'm finding interesting is that he hooks you into a story without a lot of theatrics.
  • Speaking of theatrics, I finished Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman. Although very crass, the book was enjoyable. Who knew I could enjoy a story about a man and his ex-girlfriend's cat as they navigate a maze of death built by aliens. I asked AI how much he's made of the Dungeon Crawler franchise--$40 to $50 million.
