What I'm Reading, Listening To, Watching, and Thinking About

  • I listened to an interview of Ethan Mollick, author of Co-Intelligence: Living and Working with AI. Mollick is a professor at Wharton.
  • I've regretted not studying more math in school. It was my favorite and best subject. I remember playing Around the World in grade school. We were in a big circle. The teacher would choose one student who would then pair up with the student on their right. The teacher would hold up a multiplication card and whoever called out the answer first continued down the line. The goal was to make it around the circle, which I often did. But Kevin Gallagher was my archnemesis. I remember one time he was the last person I had to beat to complete the circle. We called out answers at the same time card after card after card. He eventually won. Anyway, I never went beyond Algebra II and statistics. So I'm going to start some math courses on Khan Academy.
